> How this website meets WCAG 2.1 AA and S.I. 358/2020 and how to report an accessibility problem.
# Accessibility statement

We want this website to work for everyone who needs it.

## Our commitment

As a public sector body we are required by the **European Union (Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies) Regulations 2020, S.I. No. 358/2020** to make this website accessible.

This website has been built to meet **WCAG 2.1 level AA** , the standard referenced by **EN 301 549** .

## What we have done

- Every combination of text and background colour on the site has been checked for contrast and passes WCAG AA.
- The site works with the keyboard alone and the page order read by a screen reader matches the visual order.
- Text resizes without the layout breaking and the site is built to be used one-handed on a phone.
- Images carry text alternatives and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Movement on the page respects the reduced-motion setting on your device.
- Headings, landmarks and link text are written so the page can be navigated without seeing it.

## Known limitations

Some documents published on this site are PDFs produced by outside bodies and we cannot always guarantee that those files are fully accessible. **If you need any document on this site in another format, ring the office and we will get it to you.**

## Telling us about a problem

If you find any part of this site difficult to use, or you need something in a different format, please contact Kathy Lundy, Principal, who is our accessibility contact. We will do our best to put it right.
