Paying for things
Payments to the school are made through Aladdin Connect, the same system we use to keep in touch with you. Book money, trips, swimming and the rest all go through there.
The school does not take card details on this website. This link takes you to the school's own payment provider.
New for September 2027
After-school care, here at the school
From September 2027, BrightPath Academy will run after-school care at St Brendan’s, from 1.30 to 6.30pm, with food.
There is no dash across town at pick-up time. Children stay in the school they know, with their own friends, until the end of your working day.
BrightPath Academy is an independent provider with more than 25 years in Irish childcare and is Tusla compliant. Their afternoons are built around play and activities, with a good feed along the way.
Register your interest with BrightPath
BrightPath Academy is run independently of the school. Places, prices and booking are arranged directly with them.

Parents' Association
The Parents' Association does a great deal for the school, including subsidising swimming and yoga for the children. New members are always welcome. It is one of the best ways to get to know other families in the village.
If you would like to get involved, ring the office on 01 849 0394 or email secretary@loughshinnyns.ie.
You are warmly invited to the first meeting of our new Parents’ Association on Tuesday 13 October at 7.30pm in the school. Every parent is welcome, whether you would like to give a little time or simply meet other families and hear what is planned for the year ahead. Come as you are. We would love to see you there.

A year of change
This is a year of change at St Brendan's, with a new principal and a new deputy principal. There is plenty we would like to improve.
If you have a little time to give, we would love to hear from you. Give whatever suits your family. Even an hour once a term helps.
Helping your child at home
We keep a list of the sites our teachers recommend for reading, maths, Gaeilge and general curiosity.
