4th Class Cliff Walk 2018

Our class went on a cliff walk today from the harbor in Rush to Loughshinny beach. We had been learning about local sea birds all week in school so we were on the look out. We say Cormorants and Oyster Catchers as well as Brent Geese. We also saw some fold mountains which actually look like slices of bread. We stopped for lunch on the ‘secret beach’ and also stopped for a chat at Martello Tower and learned all about it. We took a lot of pictures and had great fun. The walk took us about 2 hours in total and Ms. Halpin, Ms. Cunnane, Mr. Mulvey, Packie and two TY students, Rebecca and Conán joined us on our walk. All in all it was a great day!
